Holtab Welcomes Roger Elfmark as New COO
After three years at Holtab, where he has led the Product division, Roger Elfmark is now stepping into the role of Chief Operating Officer. This new position comes with broader responsibilities and the opportunity to contribute even more to the company’s development.

“This will be both exciting and challenging. I look forward to supporting my new teams and continuing to refine the way we work. We have a strong position in the market, but there is always room for improvement, and I want to be part of that journey,” he says.
New Responsibilities
As Chief Operating Officer, Roger will be responsible for Holtab’s manufacturing divisions, which include Project, Product, and Service, as well as areas such as logistics, quality, and component preparation.
“My role is to ensure that daily operations run smoothly,” he explains.
Roger is deeply committed to areas such as workplace safety and quality.
“We have a strong reputation for delivering high-quality products, and we must never become complacent about that. We need to keep evolving, both in how we work and in our approach to safety,” he says.

A Perfect Fit
Roger Elfmark, who lives in Blekinge province in southeast Sweden, joined Holtab three years ago after holding various leadership positions at a major industrial company in Blekinge.
Since joining Holtab, he has felt right at home.
“In terms of values, I’ve found my place. We are an open company with short decision-making paths, producing top-class products—but it’s the people here who truly make the difference.”
He also highlights the importance of Holtab’s solutions in the ongoing global energy transition. With the energy system playing a key role in this transformation, demand is high.
“We have a strong market position and are constantly evolving. For example, we see that lead times in many customer projects are getting shorter. We are adapting to this shift in timelines,” says Holtab’s new Chief Operating Officer.
Roger takes over the role from Michael Fohlin, who stepped up as CEO last fall.
