Holtab is a leader in the Nordic region in developing, manufacturing and supplying customised power transmission solutions. We work together with customers across the Nordic region in our business areas – energy, infrastructure and industry.
Our divisions – Product, Project and Service
The Holtab Group’s operations are divided into three divisions: Product, Project and Service. These divisions focus on specific product and service areas, supporting the needs of our business areas.
Product Division
Responsible for our product portfolio of outdoor-serviced compact secondary substations (CSS) in steel and concrete, which are used in a number of applications in the electricity grid. The division also manages our HMS low-voltage switchgear developed in-house. Many orders are product-oriented with a relatively high degree of standardisation to ensure efficiency and reliability in every order.
Project Division
Manages and delivers our most advanced solutions to our customers. We offer tailor-made, prefabricated solutions that include everything from primary substations to larger subscriber plants and rectifier stations. In addition, we take care of everything, from our insulated steel and concrete buildings to the advanced low-voltage switchgear developed by Cubic.
Service Division
Offers a wide range of service and installation solutions to complement our products. For example, contracting and modernisation of power plants, security agreements and maintenance and spare parts with the option to install on site. Our services mean that you can be sure that your infrastructure gets the support it needs to operate smoothly and reliably.
Holtab Group is the parent company
Our products and services are sold through Holtab AB and Holtab Service AB in Sweden, the Holtab A/S subsidiary in Denmark and our branch office in Finland. In addition, we have established a property company, which owns the properties within the Group. Holtab Group AB is the parent company.
Offices around the Nordic region
Holtab has offices in various locations in Sweden, Malmö, Tingsryd, Kalmar, Mariestad, Mönsterås, Aneby, Kungsbacka, Skärhamn, Örebro, Täby and Örnsköldsvik, as well as Kolding in Denmark and Helsinki in Finland.
Factories in Tingsryd, Lidhult and Olofström
The head office and factory have been located in Tingsryd since the start. In 2021 and 2022, we also established factories in Lidhult and Olofström to better meet the increasing demand for our products and increase Holtab’s total production capacity.
