Low Voltage Switchboards

The demand for low voltage switchboard is high, and every customer has their unique requirements. We offer main and distribution switchboards as well as solutions suitable for everything from heavy industries to commercial operations, service switchgear, and distribution centers.

Wide Range

The need for low voltage switchboard can be highly customer-specific, which is why we have developed a wide variety of alternative setups. What characterizes all of them is modern technology and high flexibility.

Operational and Personal Safety

The low voltage switchboards is of exceptionally high quality. They are tested according to IEC/EN 61439 standards. Upon request, we also perform additional personal and operational safety tests.

Flexible Modular Design

We work with a modular design, allowing for great freedom in the selection of electrical components. Additionally, there is significant flexibility in terms of width, height, and depth, meaning the switchboard can be fully customized to fit the installation site.

Our Low Voltage Switchboards

Our low voltage switchboard comes in a variety of proven designs, offering solutions for all types of installations.

The system consists of Cubic's standard components tested as standard to a short-circuit level corresponding to a rated time current of up to 120 kA 1s and a rated impulse current of max. 264 kA.

The system is available in any division from form 1 to 4, and thus optimal personal and operational safety fully in accordance with IEC/EN 61439-1 and the customer's wishes. After installation and commissioning of the switchgear, it is possible to carry out a visual inspection and thermography of the rail connections.

A simpler version of removable groups. A complete group can extended or replaced with the LV switchboard in operation, without power/voltage interruption. The group is connected to the touch-protected rail system. The outgoing cable is connected directly to the switch.

The group is replaced simply, with some disassembly. The entire insert can then be pulled out.

The system's pull-out groups, also called draw-outs, are a system where electrical components are mounted in exchangeable cassettes that can be changed without disconnection from the switchboard. Retractable groups are used when electrical energy is to be distributed with the highest possible personal and operational safety.

Control, auxiliary and measuring circuits are transmitted via a multi-pole connector on the back of the cassette. The cassette can be moved to operating, test and disconnected mode. Regardless of the position on the cassette, the outgoing wires of the group are maintained connected in the switchgear, do not need to be disconnected.

Fixed groups are the simplest variant of outgoing groups. Reconstruction or replacement of a group takes place with the low-voltage switchboard in a de-energized state.

The groups can be equipped with fuse load switches or MCCB circuit breakers in a fixed version or in a plug-in socket. Plug-in breakers are used if you want a visible breaking point or if you want to change the breaker or supplement at a later stage without de-energizing the switchboard.

With Holtab-CMS, any division from FORM 1 to 4 is obtained, and thus optimal personal and operational safety completely in accordance with IEC/EN 61439 and the customer's wishes. After installation and commissioning of the low-voltage switchboard, it is possible to carry out a visual inspection and thermography of the rail connections.

CUBIC places importance on both operational and personal safety and therefore continuously performs additional tests that the market demands, such as earthquake, shock and arc tests. CUBIC's products are tested and/or type-approved by the world's most recognized certification institute.

Many customers today demand refined solutions in addition to pure power distribution. We therefore offer functions such as energy measurement of outgoing groups, network analysis, earth fault monitoring, alarm management, arc monitors and remote control via a control system node or Bus solution. With today's modern circuit breakers, multi-instruments and relay protection, the opportunity to easily and cheaply get a complete overview of your electrical installation wherever you are via web-based functions is also expanded.
