Joakim proud leader of ever-expanding Holtab
In a time of growth at Holtab, it is important to foster the company’s unique culture as expressed by Joakim Svensson, new head of Holtab’s Project division. "The company has a special spirit. We intend to foster this while we develop and grow," he says.
Svensson worked as a manager at a couple of different industrial companies before joining Holtab and becoming Division Manager for Projects. The customer-specific projects are located in his division.
"Holtab has a unique corporate culture. Any workplace can have nice colleagues, but here, you get the feeling that people are willing to help out. There's a pride that sits in the woodwork. This gives Holtab a market advantage, and it’s important we foster it," he says.
Protecting relationships
With its head office and production in Tingsryd, Holtab is growing its employee base and increasing its number of locations. Recent years have seen the addition of production units in Lidhult and Olofström.
“There are great business opportunities in the market and we are taking the opportunity to increase our capacity,” says Joakim.
He wants to help create a stable organisation where every employee understands what they are working towards.
"The business needs to have a clear idea and strategy."
Investing in the future
Joakim is 53 years old, lives in Ronneby and commutes to the office in Tingsryd almost every day. That’s about half an hour behind the wheel one way. In his first six months at Holtab he has spent time building relationships and getting to know the company and its employees.
"I see fostering relationships and understanding how the company talks as an important investment in the future. I am here for the long term."
