We strive to make a difference

Contributing to local and global social development is a natural part of Holtab. We want to be a positive force and engage both through our own projects and by helping others develop their ideas. Together we make a difference.

A local perspective

We show our commitment to our local community by taking social responsibility to contribute to a thriving local community. It is important for us to support the local cultural and community life where our employees live and work.

A global perspective

Internationally, we strive to make a contribution to improving people’s everyday lives. We do this by supporting development in areas such as electricity and infrastructure in Nepal. Out work is long term and we constantly aim to build local networks and develop them on site.

Development project in Nepal

We have been involved in Nepal since 2007. These efforts are helping more and more people, from individuals to entire villages.

A bright idea on sponsoring

Initially, our commitment was very much about contributing cutting-edge expertise within the supply of electricity. We started in the small village of Jyamrung, where we literally helped spread light across the Himalayas. Since then, we have developed many new projects and more are on the way.

Sponsorships and partnerships

Our CSR work is primarily aimed at associations, but also includes support for individuals. The goal is to allocate at least 25% of the budget for non-sport activities. Read more about some of our collaborations.

Stina Nilsson x Holtab

We have been working with sports profile Stina Nilsson for many years. Her strong desire to achieve results, combined with her colourful and down-to-earth personality, inspires us on many different levels.

We helps talent grow

We also collaborate with such sports personalities as football player Amanda Persson, equestrian Elin Gertsson and associations such as Tingsryd AIF, Tingsryds Tennissällskap and Ryds SK.

Schools and universities

We have several ongoing collaborations with universities, schools and organisations to encourage more students to find out about technical occupations, entrepreneurship and the electricity industry in general.

Test your engineering skills for a day

We want more girls to become interested in working with electricity and technology. That’s why we’re participating in IGEday (Introduce a girl to engineering day).

Academy of Music & Business (AMB)

For many years, we have partnered with the Academy of Music & Business (AMB) in Tingsryd, a unique training course in music and entrepreneurship. The school was founded by Magnus Lundin and Andreas Carlsson, known from TV4’s Idol, plus others.

Social engagement

"It is important to do things with heart"

“Holtab is a value-driven company with lots of courage and heart. It is the common denominator in our operations and characterises our view of the world and our social responsibility. We strive to set an example in a sustainable, safe and healthy industry.”
Anders Holmberg, owner and Chairman of the Board
