Holtab's mobile transformer station facilitates the work
Danish NKE-Elnet can perform its job more easily thanks to Holtab's solution. With a mobile transformer station, there are fewer power outages, and employees benefit from a safer work environment.
– We are very satisfied with Holtab, says Alexander Kjærgaard, electrician at NKE-Elnet.
When power grid companies need to replace or repair a facility, it is crucial that customers are not unnecessarily affected. Therefore, minimizing the number and duration of outages during the work is important.
NKE-Elnet in Denmark has long relied on Holtab's products and solutions.
– We needed a mobile transformer station for use, when replacing existing stations. It was natural to turn to Holtab, says Alexander Kjærgaard from NKE-Elnet.
High safety standards
For Holtab, ensuring the highest level of safety in all products is essential. Serious problems in a station can lead to life-threatening situations for those working in it.
– We always make sure that safety is prioritized when we collaborate with a customer. Our stations are tested according to IEC standards, and it's particularly important to have pressure relief in case of an arc flash. That's why we include it in all our stations, including our mobile transformer stations, says Ebbe Klarskov, country manager at Holtab.
NKE-Elnet is very happy with Holtab's high level of service. All questions have received a prompt response.
– We are very satisfied with how the project has progressed. From the initial contact with Holtab to the delivery of the station, everything has gone smoothly, says Alexander Kjærgaard at NKE-Elnet.
Challenge:
NKE-Elnet wanted to avoid costly and prolonged power outages for its customers while repairing or replacing existing electrical stations.
Solution:
The solution was a mobile transformer station from Holtab. Holtab's mobile transformer stations are equipped with tested pressure relief according to IEC62271-202 types A and B to ensure personnel safety.
Details:
Design voltage: 12 kV HV
Rated current: 630A HV
12-module HMS low-voltage switchgear with 1600A OT load-break switch and 400A fuse links
Results:
NKE-Elnet has received a more efficient and safer solution. During the work, electricity is connected to the mobile station, ensuring power supply while NKE-Elnet's technicians working in the station have a secure and safe working environment.
